ETO sterilisation:Sterilisation with Ethylene Oxide gas to reduce Total plate count and microbiology guarantees.This sterilization has minimal effects on flavors. The gas reacts with the protein portion of the living insects and microbes and changes its structure. The efficiency of this method on microbes is further affected by the temperatures (25-30C is needed). Process ensures final residue limits are below 50 ppm.
